Anna Peeters

Technician

In 2021, Anna obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science, with a specialization in Science & Life, at Fontys Universities of Applied Science in Eindhoven. For her Bachelor thesis, she joined the MERLN Institute at the IBE department in the group of Stefan Giselbrecht. Her research was focused on the design and generation of two reporter lines using CRISPR/Cas9 technology, which could either identify endometrium receptivity in an endometrium model and blastocyst-stage trophectoderm differentiation from naïve pluripotent stem cells in vitro.

After finishing her Bachelor’s, Anna started her professional career as a laboratory technician in the same group at the MERLN Institute. At the same time, she started the Master study Biomedical Sciences at Maastricht University.
