Nadia Roumans

Technician

Nadia is a technician at MERLN since September 2017. Previously, Nadia obtained her master’s degree in Molecular Life Sciences at Maastricht University. For her master’s thesis she focused on accelerating murine wound healing by injection of in vitro polarized M2 macrophages.

After obtaining her master’s degree, she started her PhD at the department of Human Biology at Maastricht University. During this period, she studied the adipocyte-driven mechanism for weight regain after weight loss in a human dietary intervention study. She obtained her PhD degree in 2017.
