Paula graduated from the National University of Misiones (Argentina) with a degree in Genetics in 2013. She went on to conduct her PhD research at the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina) until she received her degree in 2020. Her doctoral research focused on the study of breast cancer stem cells, with particular interest in their regulation by metabolic pathways. As of February 2021, Paula is working as a postdoc in the cBITE Department on the H2020-funded JointPromise consortium, which aims to manufacture an osteochondral implant. She will investigate patient variability to provide evidence towards the implementation of this autologous regenerative therapy approach in the clinic.
