Yara pursued her Bachelor’s in Biomedical Engineering in Autonomous University of Ciudad Juárez (México).  She has experience with working in Public Health in México and is member of the Mexican Society of Biomedical Engineering (SOMIB).

In 2023, Yara moved to Maastricht in and joined the office team of the MERLN Institute. At MERLN, she is responsible for purchasing supplies and providing general support. Yara is also is part of the MERLN News Team.
