Yue Wang obtained her master's degree from Peking Union Medical College, Tsinghua University, where she focused on exploring promising natural products with potential therapeutic benefits.
In 2021, Yue was awarded by the China Scholarship Council, which enabled her to join Maastricht University in March 2022 to pursue her Ph.D. degree. In July 2024, she joined the MERLN Institute, where she continues to advance her doctoral research project under the supervision of Prof. Berta Cillero-Pastor.
Yue's research is distinguished by its interdisciplinary approach, integrating the fields of biology, proteomics, computational simulation, and bioinformatics. This multifaceted strategy allows her to explore and elucidate the complex mechanisms underlying osteoarthritis. By leveraging these diverse scientific disciplines, her work aims to uncover novel therapeutic avenues and contribute significantly to the treatment of osteoarthritis.
