MERLN uses and develops additive manufacturing technologies to generate 3D scaffolds and biological constructs in a customized and tailored manner for targeted regenerative medicine applications. These technologies are also used to study more fundamentally the influence of geometry, structural and architectural properties on cell activity. This knowledge is then funnelled back into scaffold design to steer tissue regeneration.
