Dennie Hebels

Project Leader

After studying Biological Health Sciences at Maastricht University, Dennie started his PhD in 2006 followed by three postdoc positions in the fields of toxicology, toxicogenomics and regenerative medicine. All of these positions had "Big Data" as the common denominator and during his last postdoc in MERLN, he coordinated the development of the cBiT data repository, a biomaterial-based transcriptomics database. In 2018, he started working as a project leader for MERLN where he also fulfils the role of data steward, is a member of the MERLN Outreach team and coordinates several MERLN-wide managerial tasks.
