Yonggang Zhang


Development of load-bearing osteoinductive bone graft substitutes.

Yonggang got his bachelor degree in Jilin university from 2009 to 2013. Then he entered Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences to finish his master and PhD. In 2018, he joined the group of instructive biomaterials engineering in MERLN - Institute for Technology-Inspired Regenerative Medicine at Maastricht University as a postdoc.

His research interests mainly focus on the synthesis of bioactive inorganic materials, especially one-dimensional bioactive inorganic materials and investigation their application in tissue engineering.
