MERLN has invited Prof. Kristi Kiick to give a seminar at MERLN. Prof. Kiick works at the University of Delaware in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering. She is an expert on the synthesis, characterization, and application of protein, peptide, and self-assembled materials for applications in tissue engineering, drug delivery, and bioengineering, with specific research in cardiovascular, vocal fold, and cancer therapies. Prof. Kiick will give a presentation entitled: “Macromolecular structures for selectively and efficiently engaging cellular targets to mediate biological events”.
The seminar will take place in the MERLN kitchen (UNS40, C3.577) from 13.30 - 14.30. An abstract and bio can be found here.
