RegMedXB webinar "Van stamcel naar kweeknier"

Researchers at RegMedXB bring science and technology together in the hope that it will be possible to grow a kidney from stem cells. In this webinar, researchers tell how they solve pressing questions. For example: how can you tell stem cells what to do? And: are the results obtained in a petri dish valid for humans?

Growing up in Science lecture by Aurélie Carlier

Mosa Conference 2021

The Mosa Conference is organized every year in Maastricht by Biomedical Sciences master students. This year’s topic is (Bio)medical Innovation and Emerging Techniques in Digital Health. MERLN is also represented in the list of speakers, which includes Aurélie Carlier with a talk about diversity in healthcare.

MERLN Career Talks: Science meets venture capital

You will also learn more about M Ventures: career possibilities, cooperation with universities, and how to form a strategic alliance with a CVC. WiDS Datathon Maastricht 2021

On the 5th and 6th of February 2021, the Institute of Data Science is hosting a series of events for the 2nd Women in Data Science Datathon in the Netherlands. You will gain or improve your data science skills by building, testing, and exploring solutions to tackle a challenge from real-life patient health data. Following the WiDS mission, you will work on the data challenge in a gender-balanced team. Students and professionals from both academia and industry can join our events full of creativity, inspiration, and fun. If you are unsure about your data science skills, check out our training sessions on the 5th and 6th of February in the early morning.

Brightlands webinar science lectures

MDR Annual Meeting 2020

On the 19th and the 20th of November, the first digital Annual MDR meeting will take place. The event will be completely virtual, with life stream presentations, pre-recorded presentations, poster pitches, all moderated with a live Q&A. ECTS@Home weekly classes

The annual congress of the European Calcified Tissue Society (ECTS) goes digital this year. You can enjoy 3-days of cutting-edge and lively exchanges from 22-24 October 2020. Find out more here. The congress is accompanied by a series of ECTS@Home weekly classes from October till December.

The class on October 14 features a Workshop on Bone Tissue Engineering and will start off with a lecture by Pamela Habibovic.
