Seven years ago the Province of Limburg, Maastricht University and Maastricht UMC+ made a multimillion-euro investment as part of LINK (Limburg INvests in its Knowledge Economy). LINK brought two top scientific institutes in the fields of regenerative medicine and molecular imaging to Limburg: MERLN and M4i.

On April 12, we organized the official closing event of LINK where we looked back on what we have achieved and, of course, looked ahead to what we can expect in the years to come. To stimulate this even further, MERLN and M4i received a second financial impulse to continue our growth and perform new exciting research!
