Vanessa LaPointe interviewed by Brightlands on starting her own company

Vanessa LaPointe was interviewed by Brightlands to talk about her new start-up company that will develop an implant for type I diabetes patients. The implant consists of newly generated pancreatic cells made from stem cells can can take over the function of the pancreas for these patients, thereby effecticely replacing the need for an insulin syringe.
