Dana studied Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences at Leiden University. She has experience working as a Research Technician at Amsterdam UMC and at LUMC in Leiden where she was also responsible for ordering lab supplies.

In 2025, Dana moved towards Maastricht and joined the operational team of the MERLN Institute. At MERLN she is responsible for processing the orders on Avalon, maintaining the disposables rooms, and providing support. Dana is also part of the MERLN News Team.
