Rebeca was born in Argentina where she did her bachelor and PhD in Chemical Sciences, and after her Post Doc she moved to The Netherlands.

She is a curious material scientist with a strong background in chemistry and a real passion for learning. With experience in both academic and industrial labs, she has worked on a wide range of projects involving biomaterials, hydrogels, and nanotechnology. Over the years, she has developed a practical, hands-on approach to solving chemical challenges and enjoys applying her knowledge to help others in the lab.

Rebeca values teamwork, safety, and clear communication, and she takes pride in creating a well-organized and supportive lab environment. Whether mentoring junior scientists, helping troubleshoot experiments, or managing resources, she brings care and attention to every detail. She enjoys working across disciplines and is always open to new ideas and technologies. As a lab manager, Rebeca aims to keep the lab running smoothly while encouraging innovation and collaboration among colleagues.
