We are very honoured to welcome Marek Ostaszewski on the 27thof Janyary at MERLN.
Marek Ostaszewski is a senior researcher at the Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine, University of Luxembourg working on systems biology approaches to study human diseases. After a PhD in computer science, he switched to computational and systems biology, analysing and building molecular networks. After working in the Integrated BioBank of Luxembourg and a short but intensive experience with clinical research he works in LCSB on translational medicine projects, as a member of the Bioinformatics Core group. He focuses on visual exploration, analysis, and modelling of biomedical knowledge and data, and their application in studying neurodegenerative and chronic immune disorders.
