Lorenzo Moroni elected as Fellow of Biomaterials Science and Engineering
Last week, our Scientific Director Prof. dr. Lorenzo Moroni was elected as “Fellow of Biomaterials Science and Engineering (FBSE)”. This is the highest honor the global biomaterials community can bestow on outstanding scientists. Lorenzo Moroni is joining a group of less than 500 of the most respected biomaterials scientists world-wide.
As a Fellow of Biomaterials Science and Engineering, Lorenzo Moroni will be part of the “International College of Fellows”. The College has developed several programs, including highly visible debates at major conferences, a student exchange program, and other activities that are being implemented under the guidance of the “Steering Committee” of the College. Currently, Prof. Rui Reis serves as the Chair of College and the Steering Committee.
