Congratulations to Vanessa LaPointe who has been elected as a representative of academic staff in the UM University Council. She participated in the elections as a member of the new party LEAD (Leadership for an Equitable Academic Democracy), which won 3 out of the 6 available seats.

LEAD is a broad coalition of young academic staff, each experienced in their own faculty, who came together to proactively promote leadership, equity and democracy in UM.
