Microfluidic platforms to analyze and manipulate stem cell patterning

Pinak started as a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Complex Tissue Regeneration at MERLN Institute, Maastricht University in 2015. His research interests include design and fabrication of microfluidic platforms for controlling stem cell differentiation and patterning, which are both important processes for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.

Pinak is currently working on the development and application of micro- and nanoengineered tools for controlling stem cell patterning in microtissues and embryoid bodies.
